GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING – September 19, 2017

Homecoming to be held Saturday Oct. 14th.
Board to report to HPP 10/14 8:00am to set up.
Dayna Lusby to order Homecoming Raffle tickets. Tara Grim to sort; Team Moms to distribute.
Decide on new top prize for this year’s raffle.
Raffle Drum and tables reserved at Top Hat for Homecoming Day.
Teams to report their basket theme to Tara Grim. Tara to collect baskets 10/9-10/12.
HYC Board to put together a Homecoming Basket this year (large item).
Team Moms to recruit volunteers to work basket raffle table Homecoming day.
Tara Grim to look at alternative rental vendors for Homecoming inflatables.
Need MC to Announce Homecoming games (1-2 volunteers)
Cheer will hold their Annual Homecoming Bake Sale 10/14.
Board to order more spirit wear (sweatshirts/hoodies) to sell Homecoming day.
Discussed purchasing spirit towels or spirit sticks to give-away to HYC families Homecoming day.
Invite local vendors to set up tables at Homecoming ($25 fee).
HYC to purchase a tunnel (may not receive before this year’s Homecoming).
Pep Rally scheduled for Friday Oct. 13th HPP 6:00-8:30pm
Pep Rally Theme chosen “Let’s Glow Canes” (Glow Party)
Pep Rally team introductions, player announcements and coach recognitions
Each team to hold a “potluck”/”tailgate” during pep rally, teams encouraged to decorate their table/tent area.
Pep Rally “Punt, Pass, Kick” competition and other games.
Blitz Fundraiser profits to be emailed to club. Net Total of $11,316.94
Team and Individual Photos for Football and Cheer to be taken by Alison Curtis. Schedules emailed this week.
Need for generators at practice fields for lights—coaches/teams to supply their own.
