Do you want a chance to vote on issues, coaches, etc. then here is your chance.
There are two way(s)
1. Hold a seat on the Board. Each board vote is worth 2 points.
2. Earn a general membership vote. Each general membership vote is worth 1 point.
Every club member has the opportunity to earn 1 full individual vote.
A member must earn a total of 10 credits in order to receive one individual vote.
Credits are earned by attending general membership meetings and volunteer hours.
Meetings ~ There is a meeting log book at every meeting in which you must sign when attending a meeting ..
1 meeting = 1 credit
The meetings attended must be from January to December for a complete year and the maximum allowed credits based on meetings attended is 5.
Volunteer Hours ~ Volunteer hours must be reported to the club Secretary. The club will not track you down for your hours and if they are not reported you will loose your chance to vote. 1 (2hr) Volunteer time = 1 credit
You must volunteer for 2 hours 5 times in order to earn 5 credits.
Head Coaches will be given 5 credits that will begin once they are voted in - they must earn their additional 5 credits by attending 5 meetings.
1st and 2nd Assistant Coaches will be given 2 credits that will begin as soon as they are reported to the club Secretary by the Head Coach. Once they are reported as assistants if they change they will loose their 2 credits and if a new person is put in place they will not be given the 2 credits.
The Assistants must earn their remaining 8 credits by attending 5 meetings and by volunteering. (2hrs = 1 credit)
The volunteer hours can be done by selling apparel at home games, helping with equipment handout and/or return, helping with homecoming, or any other board approved function.
